HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Dear friends,

I just wanted to wish you all the happiest of holidays! You deserve all the happiness and joys this universe has to offer.

Deserve... it’s a bit of a funny word... De... completely... Serve... to provide for or honor another. By accepting these divine gifts, we fully give back to the universe. That's the path... to wholly accept all that we are given with an open smile and warm heart...

This is a very special time of year for me. As many of you know, my father passed away last year. We brought him home from the hospital one year ago today, on Christmas Eve. It was the finest present I could ever hope for. He took his last breath on December 28th while I sat by his side in celebration... singing and playing drum.

This season is also another personal marking point for me. December 26th, 1991 was my last chemo treatment. I have been cancer free for 14 years and goin’ strong! I observe this day each year with an introspective moment, calling it the Day of Beautiful Life.

So, I’ll be back to work on December 29th.

I cannot begin to express the thankfulness I feel for having known you during this lifetime. Thank you for being here. This journey would not be complete without you.

I wish you endless peace... Simply by living, you deserve, dear ones... you most certainly deserve...

I'll be raising my rates $10 at my SE Portland office in the new year. Since my expenses are lower at my Gresham home office, rates will remain the same. This will be the first time I've raised my rates in two years. Also, starting next year, I'll be offering discounted, pre-paid massage packages.

Took a little time off...

I took a little time off last week and reduced my massage schedule somewhat. My wife's sister, Batinah, and her boyfriend, Amos, were in town for nearly a week.

One night, we had a bunch of people over for dinner. We cooked our version of a molé. Lots off musicians were here. At one point, we had 3 guitars and a mandolin going. It's always fun to jam with others!

While Batinah and Amos were here, we had to do some of the typical tourist-type stuff. Multnomah falls, downtown, Kennedy School. Still, it was a pleasant blast.
