Massage at Spirit Feathers' Psychic Faire

I had a dandy time last weekend, offering walk-in 30 minute massage sessions. Saturday was a bit slow, but it picked up quite a bit the next day. These events are always a bit hit and miss. Often times people are there to see readers and not looking for much else. Afterall, my office is located there and I'm readily available during the week, and astrology, tarot and psychic readers are a fun entertainment to explore. Still, it's always good to make one's presence known. I had a nifty time and got to know some wonderful beings.

New massage table!

I ordered a new massage lift table months ago and it was finally delivered! It took so long because they had to build it, just for me. It's a Golden Ratio Bodyworks Olympic electric lift table. It has the looks of a very solid portable table, but it has a foot pedal that gives it 12 inches of variation. This nifty device is going to save my back, plus, allow for optimal client positioning. Therapist comfort equals client comfort.

So far, I've worked on a couple clients and it feels pretty darn good. It will take take to get accustomed to this newfound freedom. Operation is simple and smooth. I'll let you know how it's working out and client reaction to the work.
